77 Years of the German Basic Law – Freedom, Democracy and Human Dignity
Lecture & Discussion Event at Wiesbaden City Hall
On May 22, 2026, KIBA e.V. organized an open lecture and discussion event at Wiesbaden City Hall to mark the 77th anniversary of the German Basic Law.
Together with guests from different parts of society, we discussed democracy, freedom, human dignity, and the question of how respectful coexistence can succeed in a diverse society.
The focus was on personal experiences, different perspectives, and the shared exchange about the meaning of the Basic Law in everyday life today.
We would like to thank all guests and participants for the open and appreciative atmosphere, as well as for the many personal contributions and reflections.
Special thanks go to the SPD parliamentary group in Wiesbaden for providing the room at the City Hall.
