Intercultural Women’s Cinema in Dialogue – „Malala“
Looking Back: Intercultural Women’s Cinema in Dialogue – “Malala”
On 2 October, our Intercultural Women’s Cinema in Dialogue focused on courage, education and women’s rights. Together, we watched “Malala”, the moving story of a young woman who, despite enormous resistance, stands up for girls’ right to education and for equality.
After the film, we shared our impressions and had an engaging discussion about education, self-determination and the courage it sometimes takes to raise your voice and bring about change.
Equality and education are foundations of a free and democratic society. Women and girls everywhere must have the opportunity to shape their own lives and make their voices heard.
Thank you to everyone who joined the discussion and helped make this a very special evening!
